So, very, very happy with the signing and instant impact Lambert has given us. I agree with Pardew that we've been lacking fear factor up front for a long time now, and he'll now give us that.

I'm still hoping we can strengthen at the back, and ideally would like an experienced (mid 20's) playmaker. Happy for an unknown from abroad somewhere, like a Berkovic or similar.

A win tomorrow would be great for encouraging players to sign for us. Obvious thing to say, but the quicker we can get out of the minuses the better prospect we become.
